All New!! The Ex-Ray Universal Digital Speedometer System from Alltrax blows away other aftermarket speedometers on the market with features never seen before in any other speedometer in this class!! With it’s easy dash or steering column installation the Ex-Ray is ideal for golf carts, NEVs, or any other application not previously equipped with a speed measuring device. From simply wanting to know how fast you are going to calculating your remaining range or how far you have traveled, the Ex-Ray provides that and more in a easy to use digital interface.

Ex-Ray Universal Kits work on most all applications. They include a Universal 5051 Anodized Aluminum Mounting Bracket and clamp style hardware. Golf Cart Model Specific Kits include an optional CNC Machined 6061-T6 Anodized Aluminum Mounting Bracket machined to the carts steering columns specific diameter. However, you can still use a Universal Kit even if there is a model specific kit for your cart listed. It will just include the standard mounting bracket and hardware instead of the optional high-grade aluminum cart specific bracket and hardware!! Of course for a more custom fit and higher quality materials we recommend going with a model specific kit if available for your cart, but it is not required for the unit to fit!!

Conversion Kits are now available to change any existing Universal Kit into a model specific kit!! Just select the CNC Mounting Bracket that corresponds to your cart model.

The optional high-grade CNC Machined 6061-T6 Anodized Aluminum Mounting Bracket also includes two unused metric M4 screw holes located on the front. In the future these holes will be used for mounting an optional accessory panel!! This small aluminum “switch” panel will control headlights, left/right, forward/reverse (Regen Carts), and turbo on/off (next generation controllers). All switches will now be right at the Driver’s finger tips much like the radio controls on a car’s steering wheel, eliminating the need to lean into the dashboard to find them. So, if you plan to add the optional accessory panel when it becomes available you may want to choose the model specific kit for your cart or upgrade your existing Universal Kit!!

Speedometer:

The 10mm Bolt or Tab mounted Remote Speed Sensors are positioned near a wheel mounted rotating magnet. The sensor then provides pulses to the Ex-Ray’s computer to determine speed.

Temperature:

The Remote Temperature Sensor monitors the electric motor (or gas powered engine) using a 10mm (5/16") bolt on the electric motors field coil. This enables the system to provide warning indicator LEDS to the operator.

Power Input:

The Ex-Ray does use an internal battery!! However, an external power source is required to operate the the LED & Backlight display!! Any fused (0.5amp) 12-Volt vehicle power source will not drain the vehicle’s battery. Some 24, 36, and 48-Volt battery systems may require resistors (available upon request).
