Tire Safety

Taking the time to check your tires once per month is a great way to improve your safety while driving!! Completing a through tire check takes about 5 minutes, and not only improves your safety but can also save costly repairs to wheels and other vehicle components.
We recommend checking all tires including spare for..
- PRESSURE: Poor tire pressure can lead to loss of control, accidents, tire stress, and irregular wear. Tires can loose up to half of their pressure before they appear flat!!
- ALIGNMENT: If your vehicle shakes or pulls to one side or if you hit a curb or are in an accident, your tires coukd be out of alignment. Driving with your tires out of alignment can lead to tire damage!! It is a good maintenance practice to have your alignment periodically checked, and it will also lead to longer wear.
- ROTATION: Rotating your tires regularly promotes uniform wear and leads to longer wear.
- TREAD: Checking and measuring your tread is one of the most important things to inspect!! Your tread plays a big part in your tires being able to grip the road during adverse conditions, and damage can cause potentially dangerous blow-outs. Check your tread for uneven or advanced wear paying close attention for high, low, or unusually smooth areas!!
