Cushman Serial Number Information
Posted by Amanda Taylor on September 30, 2008.

It is VERY important when buying a lift kit or accessories to have the exact make, model, and year of your golf cart!! The year of your cart can be determined by it’s serial #.
Cushman Golf Carts have 2 numbers, a serial number and a model/year number. The most important number is the model/year number. It is important to note Cushman models may look very similar, but internal wiring differs greatly between models. So, always use the model/year number when buying parts and accessories!! The model/year # is a 6 digit number (it will usually start with an 8) followed by a 4 digit number, they are separated by a dash. The 1st 2 digits after the dash stand for the carts year…
Example model/year #: 844444-7400
The year would be 1974
The carts model # would be 844444
The model/year # is usually located under the seat on the driver’s side of the shift lever console. It is stamped on a plate riveted to the console.
The serial # is usually found stamped into the metal side rail, right below the floorboard on the driver’s side. It may be obscured by paint or dirt!!
Turf Trucksters or Meter Maids serial and model #’s may be located on the dash console, by the emergency brake.

Looking for a belt for a Cushman 3 seater. Used in airports for transporting passengers. The only number found is 604449. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
You can’t find any other numbers based on the instructions above?? If you can find the number with the dash it will really help us to determine the year
We have 2 different drive belts for electric Cushman’s, both for 3 seaters!! Do you have the old belt that needs replacing?? If we have the measurements on it than I can match it to what I carry without the cart’s year!!
tks for the effort you put in here I appreciate it!
